Children's Worship
The first Sunday belongs to the kids. They lead the worship hour together — prayers, scripture, and songs they've been practising all month.

What the kids are up to
Fifty to sixty children are part of Saint Paul on a normal Sunday, and every month they take a real turn at the front — singing, playing, lighting the candles, and once a year running the whole service.
The first Sunday belongs to the kids. They lead the worship hour together — prayers, scripture, and songs they've been practising all month.
During Morning Worship the children sing, or play an instrument for the congregation. If your child plays something, bring it — there is always room for one more.
Two children carry the light in and out of worship each Sunday, on a rotation assigned month by month. It's the first job many of our kids ever hold at church.

Practice is every Sunday right after communion, in the Sunday School room. Parents are welcome to stay.
Mark your calendar
One Sunday a year, the children run the whole service: welcome, readings, offering, music, the lot. It is the loudest and best-attended Sunday on our calendar, and everyone is invited.
Months of Sunday practice come together in one morning. Bring grandparents, bring neighbors, bring a camera. No ticket, no reservation — just come.
This is where all of it gets rehearsed — the songs, the readings, and how to carry a candlelighter without setting anything alight. Drop-ins welcome any week.
Teachers, snack-bringers, song leaders and extra pairs of hands are always needed. Background checks and training are provided.

Bringing your child for the first time
Arrive around 9:50 and someone at the door will show you to childcare and the Preschool Room. Children are welcome in the sanctuary for the whole service if you'd rather keep them with you — nobody here minds.
All are welcome, and we mean that.
